Westbury Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault of a man in his 70s in a residential street.
Police say that between approximately 6.15pm and 6.30pm on 22nd October, a man in his 70s was assaulted and sustained a head injury and a black eye.
The incident happened on Breton Road at the junction with Hunters Chase.
“A man in his 30s from Middlesbrough has been arrested on suspicion of ABH and released on bail pending further enquiries,” said a spokesperson from Westbury Police.
