The Frack Free Westbury group have invited campaigner Louise Somerville Williams to speak at their film and discussion night on Tuesday 27th September.
“This is a great opportunity to ask questions of a dynamic and experienced speaker on what is involved in the process of fracking, and why we are so against it in the Westbury area and beyond,” commented group member Susie Atterbury.
“As a founder member of Frack Free Somerset, Louise is a passionate environmental campaigner, mainly working on issues related to extreme energy. She is great at inspiring people to take practical steps to create sustainable futures for their children and their communities.”
All are welcome to the evening at The Laverton main hall, starting at 7.30pm. Entry is free, with donations welcomed. Doors open at 7.15pm and refreshments will be available. Further information can be found on the group websites frackfreewestbury.org and keepwiltshirefrackfree.org
