On the 1st April 2016 Westbury Town Council took over the cleaning and maintenance of the public conveniences in Warminster Road and the town centre car parks from Wiltshire Council.
“Although the lease is yet to be finalised, Westbury Town Council was keen to make sure these facilities remained available for local residents and visitors to the town,” said Deborah Urch, town clerk.
“The public conveniences are in need of considerable repair and it has been necessary to close three cubicles while these repairs are carried out, at a cost to Westbury Town Council. We are working hard to rectify the faults and we hope to have all the cubicles open to the public in the very near future.
“If the public do wish to report any issues relating to the public conveniences in Westbury, please contact the Town Council at info@westburytowncouncil.gov.uk or call us on 01373 822232.”
