Rhyme Time sessions for babies and toddlers are held every Friday at Westbury Library.
Baby Rhyme Time sessions run from 10am to 10.30am. Organisers say, “Join us for our free, friendly and fun sessions led by a member of library staff, where young children and their families share rhymes and actions.
“Rhyme times are a great way to help children develop early communication skills and interaction with other children, as well as being an opportunity for parents and carers to meet other families.
“Rhyme times run throughout the year on every Friday when the library is open.”
Toddler Rhyme Time sessions run from 11am to 11.30am. Organisers say, “Join us for nursery rhymes, bouncing, clapping and action rhymes for toddlers and pre-schoolers.
“Singing together and repeating rhymes helps your child develop listening, visual and memory skills, which will stay with them all the way through school. Rhyme time sessions also encourage good social skills, helping your child become comfortable in groups of other children.
“Learn new songs, or maybe re-learn some old one favourites at this popular singing session. Free, and no need to book!”
Upcoming dates for both sessions are Friday 31st January, Friday 7th February and Friday 14th February
