PRESIDENT of the Rotary Club of Westbury, Jon Street, has presented a cheque for £250 to Debbie Cole of the Leigh Park Community Centre towards the running of their Youth Arts Project.
He said, “The Rotary Club of Westbury is pleased to support the centre, which aims to support the needs and development of young people.
“The centre helps develop opportunities for young people to access programmes and support, helps young people develop their practical and social skills, provides further educational attainment, opens doors and supports careers. It helps develop entrepreneurial skills, employability, provide recreational and sports outlets, and help young people learn about and conserve the natural environment and engage as full members of the community.”
