BRATTON Primary School has a vacancy for a governor.
The school said, “The role of the school governor is more important than ever. By joining, you can contribute to decision-making that will have a huge impact on the lives of young people in your community.
“The governing body plays a critical role in the school’s success and success of its children. Governors ensure a clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction, hold school leaders to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and oversee the financial management of the school.
“No special qualifications needed but a keen interest in the school and playing an active role in the governing body’s work is essential. Training is available.
“Being a governor, you will develop new skills, create strong links with the school community, and influence the school’s vision and strategy.
“If this sounds of interest please contact the clerk to governors, Sarah Andrews on sarah.andrews@bratton.wilts.sch.uk.”
