Westbury infants have been busy making an igloo out of milk bottles to create an area for children to go and spend time in small groups. Children have been collecting the bottles and have spent the last few months building the igloo.
Mrs Phillips creator of the igloo says, “We wanted the children to feel like they had a special area they could go to away from the noise and rush of a busy classroom.
“They are able to use the igloo to share their thoughts and feelings in a relaxed environment and supports them with their emotional literacy skills. So far the children have enjoyed using the space and the novelty of it provides a talking point for those children who find sharing their ideas difficult.”
