FROME’S Memorial Theatre lineup is jam-packed with music and entertainment for the coming weeks.

On Friday 21st October, from 7.30pm, there’s a Charity Fashion Show. Don’t miss out on a fantastic evening of fashion which is being organised for the Frome Memorial Theatre Restoration Fund.

M & Co Frome and Frome Brides & Belles are  kindly supplying some great outfits for all ages and sizes. M & Co are generously giving each ticket holder a 10% discount voucher to be spent in their Westway Precinct shop and Frome Brides & Belles are eager to show their wide range of evening dresses, bridal gowns, bridegroom suits and not forgetting the bridesmaids too. Tickets at £8.00 to include a welcome drink can be purchased from M & Co or the Memorial Theatre Box Office.

On Saturday 22nd October, dig out your flares and platform shoes for an evening with Hexagon Black & White 70s/80s Disco, plus PDJ Disco. Great music and great cocktails – what more could you ask for! Optional Black and White dress theme with a prize for the best costume. Tickets cost just £5.

One for the kids on Saturday 29th October at 2.30pm with a live performance of Don’t Dribble on the Dragon.

‘My brother has a dragon and he keeps it secretly within a box beneath his socks. He’s hiding it from me…’ When Tom and his older brother Jack’s friendship falls apart can a magical dragon help them put it back together again?

Based on the fabulous new book by Steven Lee and with magic designed by TV legend Paul Daniels, this spectacular musical adventure about growing up and the importance of family is the perfect feel good show for big hearted adults and loving little ones alike.

As an extra treat, Steven will be available to sign copies of Don’t Dribble On The Dragon which you can bring with you or get in the theatre after the show.

For adults and kids of all ages (not recommended for under 2s). Ticket Prices: £9.50,  children under 16 £8.50,  family ticket for 4 £32.00 (maximum 2 adults).

On Thursday 3rd November, Frome Memorial Theatre Company presents Showstoppers 2016. Expect a fabulous evening of entertainment. Full programme details to follow. Tickets cost £9.50.

Then on Friday 11th November, Joe Brown brings his first solo show to Frome – Just Joe. With a history spanning music hall, rock ‘n’ roll, theatre, films, TV, radio, there aren’t many that can claim such an entertaining background. Aided and abetted by his old friend Henry Gross, Joe will share anecdotes and insights, interact with audiences, play many a song and do what he does better than almost anyone else – entertain with a capital E. Tickets cost £25.

To book tickets, call the box office on 01373 462795 (24 hours); or for more information, visit fromememorialtheatre.org. uk, or find them on Facebook or Twitter.
