CONTRIBUTIONS of over £600 towards parking issues in the town were approved by Westbury Town Council’s highways, planning and development committee.
Members rubber-stamped a payment of £453 towards reboundable posts on both sides of the road at Hillside Park – a 25% contribution added to Wiltshire Council’s £1361.25 payment.
They also voted in favour of paying £190 towards refreshing current road bar markings and installing two reboundable poles in the footway of Bremeridge Road, to prevent vehicles parking on the footway, after Wiltshire Council contributed £570.
