ALL Saints Church Westbury are looking for sponsors for the annual Christmas Tree Festival.
Chairperson of the festival David Bullock said, “All Saints Church, Westbury are hoping to spread a little Christmas cheer this December with their annual Christmas tree festival.
“As with everything at the moment, we will be strictly adhering to government guidelines with social distancing, mask wearing and cleaning regimes in place. Visitors will have to book online or by phone for their tickets for timed slots for families throughout the weekend and there will be an opportunity to make a donation towards the church funds which are sadly depleted this year”.
Organisers added, “The festival, which has been running annually for over 12 years, has always been a popular event in the town. The church is hoping Westbury will be able to enjoy it again this year.
“We would love it if our supporters from previously years would be willing to sponsor a tree again and new sponsors are always welcome. If you would like to join in with the event by sponsoring a tree, pease contact the parish office 01373 859450, office@ whtministry.org.uk as soon as possible to express your interest and to request an application form (preferably before 9th October).
“Tree set up will be organised with timed slots to ensure social distancing can be carried out and masks are to be worn in church at all times. If you are interested in volunteering as a steward, please leave your contact details.
“The Christmas tree festival will be held from the 4th – 7th December. We look forward to seeing you there.”
