Heywood and Hawkeridge WI is hosting a public evening with Ian Caskie to listen to his enthusiastic talk on the SS Great Britain.
Ian provides an illustrated talk which tells the ship’s remarkable story from her original design through the different phases of her working life.
To hear all about SS Great Britain including her incredible salvage, return to Bristol in 1970 and finally her restoration then go along to Heywood Village Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday 14th March.
