A SCARECROW trail will take place in Westbury at the end of the month and local people are being encouraged to buy a trail map and help raise money for Bitham Brook Primary School.
The scarecrows will be on the theme of traditional and modern children’s storybooks and they will be displayed from Saturday 25th May to Sunday 2nd June.
The Friends of Bitham Brook say, “Have fun during the May half term and help Friends of Bitham Brook School fundraise for the school by picking up a trail. Volunteers are currently creating scarecrows to be displayed around Westbury.
“All completed trails returned will be in with a chance of winning a £20 Amazon voucher. You can also vote for your favourite scarecrow. Join in and enjoy spotting the different books around the town!”
Trail maps cost £3.50 and will be on sale at Bitham Brook School from Monday 13th May to Friday 24th May between 9.15am to 11.30am and 1.15pm and 3.15pm. Alternatively, you can pick up trail maps from the Westbury Conservative Club from 4pm. If you require a map during the week-long event, contact Friends of Bitham Brook Primary School on Facebook or email FriendsofBithamBrook01@outlook.com
