The Westbury Family History Group welcome Peter Donavan who’s talk is entitled ‘The Power of Steam’ on Thursday 28th January
He will show how this technology influenced people’s lives with the development of steam driven road carriages, aeroplanes, yachts, traction engines and cars. He will also look at the railways, primarily narrow gauge, in England and Wales
The Westbury Family History Group meets every 4th Thursday of the month at 7.15pm in the foyer of Westbury’s Methodist Church. The branch has regular interesting and informative talks and discussions by members and guest speakers on all aspects of family history and general history.
