A vacancy has arisen in the Westbury west ward on Westbury Town Council due to the recent resignation of Mike Naxton.
If anyone would like to put themselves forward for the role of councillor in this ward, then they have until Monday 17th April to do so. If more than ten responses are received by this date an election will be held, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option. If an election is called it will take place no later than Thursday 22nd June.
Requests must be delivered in writing to Terence Herbert, Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 8JN.
A second vacancy on Westbury Town Council is to be filled by co-option as the deadline has passed for an election to be held.
