SINCE opening in Westbury 2013, Cinnamon Lounge on the High Street has been supporting local charities and good causes.
The business has helped raise hundreds of pounds for charities and supported local community events in the last three years, and they have no plans to stop!
Manager and owner, Mohammed Sufian, known as Sufi to his friends and customers, said, “Since moving to Westbury, I wanted to be involved in the community and do what ever I could to help people. I was helpless once but was helped by a local charity and I will always be grateful for their support. So now, I want to help others.
“We hold lots of curry nights for people and provide the food for free so they can donate all the money raised to charity. We also give prizes for raffles and support the town council with their charity events, including the Mayor’s Charity Auction which raised £300 in 2014. We also support village fairs and the Westbury Juniors School. It is important to us to give back to the community.
“If there are any groups or charities who would like our help, then please get in touch. Our door is always open.
“We will holding a charity quiz and curry night for Catherine Morrison on 15th November. More details are on page 14
“We also plan to hold our own charity event soon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“We would like to thank our wonderful customers for their support and for continuing to recommend us. We would like to remind them that we are open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and would love to wish them a very happy Christmas.”
