Westbury Lions Club has been awarded a Club Excellence Award in recognition of the growth of the club, its work in the community and the recent formation of the Westbury Leos club, based at Matravers School.
Westbury Lion Nigel Coward said, “Westbury Lions is one of the ‘shining lights’ within our District, and as such is regularly used as an example to other Lions clubs for demonstrating community engagement and growth.
“Our Zone chairman Jarvis MacDonald, also a Westbury Lion, presented the award at our November meeting to Lion President Phil Harris who said he can’t wait to sink his teeth into future projects and continue with developing the club.”
