Nominations are now open for the Westbury Young People Awards which celebrate inspiring young people of Westbury and surrounding areas.
Any young person who lives or goes to school in the Westbury area aged up to 19 (or 25 for those with special education needs or disabilities) can be nominated for the popular awards.
The categories include arts awards and sports awards, but also include the Young Leader award, Young Carer award, Young Achiever award and Young Environmental Champion award.
The ceremony will take place at Matravers School in the evening of Wednesday 14th June.
Organisers say, “We are really pleased to announce that this popular awards ceremony is coming back this year. Nominations can be made by anyone – teacher, coach, group leader, parent, friend or anyone else who knows a young person.

Nominations will close on Sunday 30th April, so do not delay in getting your nominations in.
The Westbury Community Area includes the town of Westbury, and the villages of Bratton, Edington, Heywood, Hawkeridge and Dilton Marsh.
