PULLING lorries and lifting cars – all part of the Strongman competition at Ironworx Gymnasium in Westbury recently.
Entrants took part in three different weight categories, and had to undertake a number of challenges.
Lee Salter of the gym said, “The day was a great success, we had more competitors than our last competition. We had guys take part from as far as London so it was very competitive and I’m sure more or less everyone got personal bests throughout the day.
“The crowd were fantastic, I’m sure their support helped the guys no end.”
The next event will be a powerlifting competition in December.
