THE Tidy Bratton group has arrange two working parties to help with tidying the village, as well as a litter collections across the coming months.
Bratton Parish Council reports, “A great deal of work has been done, principally by Peter Brabner the leader of the Tidy Bratton Group, identifying the needs of the village to ensure it is well maintained.
“The council has now let a contract to Idverde to carry out increased works of maintenance on the roads and footpaths within the village.
“The Tidy Bratton Group has arranged two Working Parties to help with tidying parts of the village, as well as a litter collection on Saturday 14th April and Tuesday 8th May – both 10am-12.30pm.
“Apart from helping to make the village look ‘smarter’, it is also about preparing for the village to be judged in this year’s Best Kept Village Competition.
“Please join them outside the Pavilion on the Green. Bring gardening gloves and appropriate tools.”
