All Saints’ Church has published a revised edition of a book about the windows of the Grade 1 listed building, with 17 colour illustrations.
‘The ‘Beautiful Windows’ of All Saints’ Church, Westbury’ would make an ideal gift for Christmas at just £5. The book will be launched at this year’s popular Christmas Tree Festival taking place in the Church from 30th November – 2nd December.
Agnes Cape, a member of All Saints’ congregation who co-wrote the book with Eileen Dew said, “We first published the book in 2004 with just black and white drawings. It had gone out of print and it was decided to republish the book with colour photographs, now that colour printing is more affordable. The book explains the story in each window and tells a little of its history.”
An ideal stocking filler at just £5, the book will be available from the Church during the Christmas Tree Festival and afterwards from the church before and after services.
