Holy Trinity church held its second Ye Olde Jumble Sale on Saturday 12th October.
In the words of the church warden, “It was a great community event. The community gave us items to sell; the community helped to organise & sort the jumble, bric-a-brac and books; the community came and bought many bargains and the leftovers were taken to charity shops for more recycling for even more people in the community. Everyone in church on the day experienced a great atmosphere and the total profit raised was £424.37. (This may be slightly more as there are a couple of items held back to try on eBay.)
“Thanks go to all the people that helped in any way and to all those who supported us. It was definitely a team effort.”
Date for your diary – 10th October 2020.
