Walking netball is exactly what it sounds like – netball, but at a walking pace. Anybody is welcome to come along and take part.
It is the perfect sport for people who just want to be a bit more active, former netball players who don’t feel able to play netball at the intensity they used to, people who just want to return to the game, or people who just want to get out and socialise.
The sessions have now been confirmed and the details are: Venue: Leighton Sports Centre Date: Every Wednesday starting 22 January Time: 1pm – 2pm Cost: £3 per person.
Westbury community engagement manager, Graeme Morrison said, “Walking netball sessions are popping up all round the county and it is great news that we are able to introduce it to Westbury. We are looking forward to the first session on Wednesday 22 January.”
