Women of the World (WOW) is a group of women coming from different sides of the world, who have lived in this country for quite awhile.
Leny Davies, organiser, (Philippines) reports, “WOW commemorate international women’s day and also celebrating10 years of friendship and camaraderie this year. We are very grateful for the kindness of Karen Hopkins to host the party at her house in Westbury on Friday 6th March.
“It was attended by 19 women coming from different countries including Canada, Australia, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Peru, Colombia, Honduras, Lebanon, Ethiopia Wales and England.
“WOW celebrations is about women’s life, cultures and diversity. It was a fun evening that was full of flavours from around the world, with some traditional dancing, singing and a lot of laughs.
“This summer WOW will celebrate 10 years anniversary party in a bohemian theme and we would like to welcome anyone who would love to join WOW.”
