BUDDING young cricketers, from complete beginners to practiced players, can have fun while honing their skills on courses in Westbury.
The All Stars (age five to eight) and Dynamos (age eight to 11) sessions run by Westbury and District Cricket Club at Wellhead Lane still have a few spaces left for boys and girls who would like to sign up.
All Stars provides eight weeks of non-stop fun at sessions taking place on Friday through May and June from 6pm to 6.45pm.
The activity and game based programme is suitable for all skill levels, providing children with the foundations to begin a lifelong love of physical activity and cricket, while making friends in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Every child who registers will receive a backpack full of goodies, including a cricket bat, ball and personalised t-shirt.
All children returning to All Stars will receive a kit bag, new stumps and ball and a personalised t-shirt.
The cost is £45 for an eight week programme and personalised participation pack for every player.
Dynamos Cricket provides boys and girls from eight to 11 years old with six sessions of non-stop fun, on Fridays through May and June from 6pm – 7pm.
Each week there will be a focus on a different cricket skill to build their confidence and ability, before they take part in a 60-ball countdown cricket match.
Dynamos Cricket will help grow children’s love of the game, and will give them the opportunity to socialise and make friends in a safe environment.
The cost is £40 to include a personalised New Balance playing shirt, Tops Cricket attar cards and exclusive access to the Dynamos Cricket App for every player
