THE Holy Trinity Church in Dilton Marsh has announced its event schedule for  September.

Sue Stanley, on behalf of Holy Trinity Church said, “Following a successful return of the monthly Meet the Village coffee morning and table top sale in August, Holy Trinity church’s next meeting is on Saturday 4th September, starting at 10am and running until noon.

“The strength of these mornings is the overwhelming companionship atmosphere experienced by stallholders and visitors alike. The bonus being sales of wares and a chance to chat with old friends and make new ones, along with a monthly Fairtrade food stock up opportunity from the church’s Traidcraft stall. Free entry for all.

“This is a monthly event, on the first Saturday of the month. Bookings as per the poster or via suestanley.whtministry@gmail.com”

On 10th September 2021 at 7pm, there is The Romance of Railways by the Rev’d Alastair Wood – a journey around the country and over the decades in picture & song including the premier performance of “I left my true love on Westbury Station”

Refreshments available. Tickets on the ‘platform’ (door) only £5!!!

A great evening of entertainment on the tracks before you!!

This is followed on 11th September with a fashion show at Dilton Marsh memorial hall.

Dilton Marsh’s Mothers Union and Women’s Institute have joined forces to hold a fashion show in association with Travelling Trends.

A ladies night out with a difference is promised with a live catwalk show and a chance to buy this season’s high street fashion at bargain prices. Proceeds will be shared between Wiltshire Aid Ambulance and Salisbury’s Women’s Refuge.

Finally an advance event but crafters needed now for stall bookings – Saturday 27th November 2021 Craft Fayre with Creative Challenge exhibition & Sale 10am-4pm.

Calling gifted crafters for our November craft fayre, hosted by Holy Trinity church, in Dilton Marsh Memorial Hall. Pitches are only £10 prepaid, and refreshments including hot snacks will be available.

Help us make this a great Fayre for all! A great chance to sell and buy unique Christmas gifts!!

The Fayre will also include the long-awaited culmination of the Creative Challenge, set during the first lockdown in 2020 to help give people a lifeline to have something to take their minds off of the situation.
