WESTBURY Golf Club held a very successful Open Day on Saturday 22nd June with plenty of interest in the free golf, the barbecue and the bouncy castle.
The club says, “We hope that we have attracted some new members.
“The Secretary’s Bowl was won by Bob Rawlings, who is in a rich vein of form, with a nett 66 beating Matt Gardiner by one shot.The Longest Day Competition saw Luke Ross come out on top with 48 points, with Chris Vaughan in the runner-up spot with 41 points.
“The Seniors had an away match at Erlestoke, a new opponent, which resulted in a 5 and a half to a half win for the home side.The pair who managed the half point were Bob Rawlings and John Williams.”
