The Sunday Brunch event will return to Soisy Gardens next week with a dog show in support of a local charity.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm on Sunday 31st May, with the dog show starting at 10.30am in aid of Dogs for Health, which supports people in Westbury with therapy dogs to combat social isolation and anxiety.
Categories include Most Handsome Boy, Most Beautiful Lady, Golden Oldie, Junior Handler (under 14) and Cutest Puppy (under 18 months).
“Entrants are invited to come along to the Dogs for Health stall on the day,” said Tracey Morris, events coordinator at Westbury Town Council, which is organising the event. “Awards will be given for first, second and third place in each class, with certificates and rosettes up for grabs.”
Live music will be provided by Conor Smith and his dog, who has been featured on BBC Introducing, and Yoga with Yara will host a free 30-minute session from midday.
There will also be food stalls, local traders and family activities. Kelly’s Donkeys will bring a petting farm experience, and Wiltshire Police Cadets will attend with a police car and fingerprinting demonstrations.
