A Westbury primary school raised £254 for a mental health charity after ditching their school uniform for a day of yellow-themed fundraising.
Staff and pupils at Westbury CofE Junior School dressed in yellow on Friday 9th October as part of World Mental Health Day.
The funds raised were donated to YoungMinds, a UK’s leading charity that focuses on children and young people’s mental health.
During the day, pupils learnt how small acts of kindness can make a difference to someone’s wellbeing.
Assistant Headteacher El Flynn said, “Thank you to our school community for giving so generously and joining in with important conversations about wellbeing and mental health.”
