Westbury men are being invited to get outdoors, learn new skills and improve their wellbeing through a free 12-week nature-based course coming to the town for the first time.
The course, run by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, will begin on Monday 11th January 2027, with weekly sessions running from 11am to 2.30pm.
Men aged 20 to 59 are invited to take part in nature-based activities, including habitat conservation and walks, alongside relaxation and mindfulness.
The programme is led by qualified staff with backgrounds in ecology, nature conservation, health and wellbeing.
A free minibus pick-up will be available from the town centre, and snacks and hot drinks will be provided.
A spokesperson for the trust said, “We hope the Men’s Wellbeing in Nature programme in Westbury will give men the opportunity to improve their wellbeing, build confidence and feel more connected to others and their local community.
“Spending time outdoors, learning new skills and working together on practical activities can provide a relaxed, welcoming space where men can take a break from everyday pressures, develop friendships and feel comfortable talking about how they’re doing.”
