Frome Art Society Spring Exhibition is currently taking place at Rook Lane Chapel, and will continue until Saturday 9th May, opening from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
The impressive space at Rook Lane allows members to exhibit large pieces of work which ensures a wide variety of styles in different media. With over 130 members there will be much to see and enjoy.
The Vera Skinner prizes will be judged by Amanda Bee, artist and printmaker whose main inspiration comes from land and seascapes of Somerset and Cornwall. The prizes will be presented at the preview by the Mayor of Frome, Cllr Peter MacFadyen.
As well as framed work there will be cards and mounted work in browsers for sale. This gives visitors an opportunity to pick up an original piece of artwork for a reasonable price. Come and see! Come and buy!
