Almost 100 runners took on the Bratton Hilly run this month and raised around £500 for Bratton Jubilee Hall.
Runners set off on the challenging, multi-terrain 11km run from the hall, which had a pop-up café set up for spectators and runners.
Alex Griffiths from Edington was the first male finisher, completing the run in 42 minutes and 50 seconds. The first female finisher, Shannon Redhouse from Westbury, completed it in 49 minutes and 20 seconds.
“Thank you to all the amazing runners who made such a great event, even the crazy ones that did parkrun first, cycled there, or ran home,” said Tracey Hyde, co-founder of Redfish Events, which organised the run. “What an amazing day and the weather was so kind to us.”
The next Redfish Events race will be the Dilton Dash on Sunday 10th May. There are options to run a 10km, 3km or 500m race, with the 3km and 500m open to under-16s.
