DO you like to read aloud? Do you enjoy listening? Westbury Library is inviting people to come along and join their small shared reading group, ‘Read Share Listen’, which meets in the library every Tuesday morning at 11am.
A spokesperson for the library says, “It’s a gentle hour of reading out loud and the conversations that evolve. You can bring along pieces of writing from books, magazines, newspapers, or anything else you’d like to share. Or you can simply come along, sit back and listen. It’s a lovely way to meet new people and a good excuse to take an hour out of the day for yourself and enjoy the benefits of being read to. The group is free and open to all adults. No need to book; just turn up.”
