A public meeting to discuss Wiltshire Council’s waste policy and its possible effect on the Westbury is being held by Westbury Town Council this week.
The event will take place at the Laverton this Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8pm.
“Wiltshire are proposing a new waste policy that could affect Westbury and could make the incinerator more likely,” said the town council.
“Westbury Town Council opposes this proposal and wants residents to be fully informed.
“Come along to the Town Council meeting to find out more. There will be a presentation, Andrew Murrison MP will attend, and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions if you wish.”
