Pupils at Bratton Primary School raised money on Red Nose Day by attending school with crazy hairstyles.
Children and staff raised funds for Comic Relief by coming into school sporting creative hairstyles and wigs.
“We have been blown away with the amazing hairstyles on display, with some showing great creativity with props included within the hair,” said Louise Bunce from the school. “We especially loved seeing Barbie dolls plaited into hair, bottles with hair flowing out and so many sparkles and colour!
“The event today has certainly generated many smiles for the children and staff and will also boost the Red Nose Day fundraising appeal. At lunchtime, the whole school community came together on the school playground to take part in various Red Nose themed games, including water and ball games, with the most competitive being the staff trike race!
“The children have been amazing and have shown such understanding and kindness to the Red Nose cause. Thank you to everyone who has joined in and donated to our Crazy Hair Day.”
Money raised for Red Nose Day helps fund vital projects supporting people facing tough times, both in the UK and around the world. Funds help to put food on plates, provide safe places to sleep and support people who are at risk of poverty and harm.
