A Westbury man has seen success at a major cycling competition.
Joel Hyde won the 55-59 age group category at the National 100 Time Trials in Cirencester.
The race, on Sunday 13th July, saw keen cyclists from across the country take part.
Joel completed the 100-mile challenge in 4 hours and 5 minutes and competed as part of Frome-based team Pronto Bikes.
He said, “I can honestly say the last 20 miles or so was probably one of the hardest things I’ve done to keep going in that heat.”
