A fundraising quiz night organised by Westbury Lions Club saw the event’s biggest turnout to date.
Competitors came together for an evening of friendly competition, with the event raising over £1,000 for the club.
Westbury Leigh Primary School were crowned the winning team on the night, taking home the £100 grand prize.
“We had the most amazing evening, having raised over £1,000, which will directly benefit the people of Westbury and surrounding villages,” said Lion President Angie.
“The strong turnout created a real buzz throughout the event, with participants fully embracing the spirit of the evening. The quiz had an amazing atmosphere, with many joining in the singing! Thank you to all who attended, and here’s to the next one in the autumn!
“We look forward to seeing both familiar faces and new teams at the next event!”
The next quiz night is scheduled for Tuesday 22nd September.
