Officers from Westbury’s neighbourhood policing team recently visited Westbury Infant School to speak to students about safety.
The police talked to the children about staying safe, being responsible citizens, and the role of the police in the community.
“The police came to talk about using kind words,” said Year 2 pupil Jasmine Gardner.
“He made sure everybody was safe. He wore his uniform with a very big walkie-talkie and handcuffs on his high-vis. We had a great time!”
A member of staff added, “The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit from the police. The highlight was seeing the police car with its lights and sirens going!”
