MEMBERS of Dilton Marsh WI had good reason to celebrate on 19th June as it was 40 years since opening their doors for the first time.
At a local hostelry they welcomed special friends to join them for a delicious meal and raised their glasses to a journey down memory lane.
Guests were federation chairman Isobel Acott, WI advisor Lesley Holdway, Vera Gerrish and Frances Sisson from Westbury WI with Mary Bartlett and Evelyn Mead from Heywood and Hawkeridge WI. Congratulation cards were read and founder member Pam Jones was presented with a bouquet.
