EDINGTON Village Fair has an action-packed afternoon of events to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday and to get you excited for the forthcoming Olympics.
Vanessa Lescott who is helping to organise the fair said, “We are lucky to have a Samba band playing to get us ready for Rio. They will also be running workshops for anyone wishing to have a go.
“Trowbridge’s own Gymnasium club ‘Esprite‘ will be giving a display and will also be looking for volunteers to take part as well. The Bratton School dance group will also be performing – plus there’ll be lots of games and races for all the family.
“We have all your favourite stalls: cakes, plants, white elephant, a large selection of crafts, the famous WI teas and more.
“The fair will be followed by an evening party taking place at the Three Daggers Pub, where live music will be played. There’ll be a BBQ and freshly made pizzas will be served on the newly-refurbished patio.
“Our village fair is run by a small committee of people who work hard to create the best entertainment possible and provide a variety of crafts and activities for all ages.
“The money raised will go to various local groups around the village and Benefice.
“Book the 11th June in your diaries and see you then!”
