ALL Saints Church will be hosting a talk about the role of women and animals in the First World War as part of their centenary talks on Friday 12th May.
At the talk you will learn more about how over 1 million horses were used by the British Army in World War One.
The role of women in the war will also be explored, with more information about how women served in many roles including transport, the police, in medicine and on farms.
To hear more, come along to the All Saints Church on Friday 12th May. Doors open at 7.00pm and the talk begins at 7.30pm. Tickets are £6 and can be bought on the door. Your first tea/coffee or wine is included in the price of admission. Children will be admitted free of charge if accompanied by an adult.
