HEAVY rain has been Westbury & District Cricket club’s biggest rival during the pre-season as matches are cancelled due to waterlogged wickets.
Pre-Season Match. Westbury versus Potterne at Westbury on Saturday 14th April 2018. Heavy rain puts paid to first Pre-Season match against local rivals. The first pre-season match of the 2018 cricket season had to be cancelled to the heavy amount of rain that had fallen over the previous couple of weeks. This was a great disappointment to the team that was looking forward to starting the 2018 season.

The latest pre-season match against local rivals Trowbridge who won the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire League last season had to be cancelled as the wicket had not recovered from the rainfall that had fallen over the last couple of weeks.
