Picnics, Pimm’s and great music proved a winning formula for a recent event in historic Victoria Garden.
The public garden, once a mill pond and now maintained by the community group ‘Friends of Victoria Garden, was the venue for an afternoon of blue grass music performed by the Bow Legged Skeeters.
The event, organised by the Friends of Victoria Garden, attracted around 80 people and raised funds which will be used towards improvements including an information board featuring the history of the garden.
Historic Victoria Garden is to be the starting point for a fascinating bat walk led by Wiltshire Council expert Ali Rasey. The walk starts at 7.15pm on September 12th.
