THERE is an interesting mix of events coming up at Warminster Library!
Harry Potter Book Night – Thursday 2nd February at 4pm. Come and join us in celebrating Harry Potter Book Night 2017: the Professors of Hogwarts! Share the wonder of magical stories with lots of fun and games.
Dress Code – Wizarding robes, Harry Potter character fancy dress or your best Muggle attire.
Suitable for ages 5-12 years old. Free event, but limited places so please book your place in person, by owl or telephone 01985 216022. Children must be accompanied by an adult (children 8 and under must never be left unsupervised in the library).
Blind Date with a book – Saturday 11th-18th February, during library opening hours. Don’t judge a book by its cover, take home a wrapped book and maybe you’ll discover a masterpiece you haven’t read yet. Take a chance and try something new. Don’t forget to rate your date and let us know how it went.
Love Libraries, Love Dancing – Tuesday 14th February, 2pm. Caroline Newman, The Dance Lady, returns to Warminster Library this Valentine’s Day after the success of last summer’s creative dance sessions “Jive with George and his Marvellous Medicine” and “Move with Matilda”.
If you love libraries and love dance and fitness come along to what promises to be a fun and invigorating creative dance session. Explore a love of books and reading through expressive dance and movement as led by The Dance Lady.
Suitable for children aged 4 – 11 years old. Session lasts approximately 1 hour.
