STAFF and pupils at Bratton Primary School recently learnt more about the Welsh culture to celebrate St David’s Day on Wednesday 1st March.
A school spokesperson says, “To celebrate St David’s Day our lovely Mrs Oakham, who is the school’s finance officer, kindly passed on some of her Welsh dancing and language skills to the children in Zebra class.
“She ran a Welsh folk dancing workshop with traditional music from Dawnsio Gwerin, followed by teaching the Zebra class children some basic Welsh phrases such as hello and thank you.
“Thank you, Mrs Oakham, for kindly taking the time out of the office to enhance St David’s Day with the students at Bratton Primary School.”
