BRATTON Primary School’s summer fete managed to raise an impressive £3,000 for the school which will go towards purchasing new iPads for the children. This marks the first time in 15 years that the school has hosted a summer fete.
The school said, “Wow, what an amazing day full of excitement, smiles and sunshine at our school fete, which was kindly organised by parent volunteers from Friends of Bratton School.
“It really was a pleasure to invite the whole community into our lovely school grounds to host the summer fete. There was lots of activities for all the family, from donkey rides, a variety of stalls, food and entertainment – a good time was had by all! The fete raised over £3,000 which will go towards purchasing new iPads for the children to use at school.”
As part of the event, the school hosted a ‘Bratton’s Got Talent’ show where Bratton Primary School pupils had the opportunity to perform their talent on stage in front of the public.
The school added, “It was amazing to see such a wide range of talent on show, from singing and dancing, to magic shows, to bike tricks and music presentations! The three judges were astonished with the levels of talent, and the commitment shown by these children with everyone winning a small prize to say congratulations for taking part! We are already looking forward to next year’s fete!”
