The popular Christmas Tree Festival is returning to All Saints’ Church next month, and organisers are inviting people to consider sponsoring a tree.
This year’s festival is due to take place over the weekend of Friday 29th November, and an extra open afternoon will also take place on Saturday 7th December, to coincide with the town’s Christmas lights switch-on.
The White Horse Team is inviting families, businesses and organisations to consider sponsoring a tree at this year’s event and is also seeking volunteer stewards to help at the event. Donations of food and drink for the raffle hampers would also be greatly appreciated.
Organiser Sharon Jones said, “This is a major fundraiser for the church, which is especially important this year as we have been saving to cover the costs of significant roof repairs and water damage.”
To find out more information about the event or to sponsor a tree, contact the team office at office@whtministry.org.uk or call 01373 859450.
“The White Horse Team looks forward to welcoming both local residents and visitors to the event,” Sharon added.
