Pupils and staff at Bratton Primary School joined thousands across the UK to support a national fundraising event aimed at helping protect children.
The school took part in NSPCC Number Day on Friday 6th February, with a range of maths themed activities and fancy dress designed to promote numeracy and raise awareness of the charity’s work.
“The students and staff really jumped on board with the number theme, with students creating wonderful number themed outfits and showing such enthusiasm for the maths related activities!” said Louise Bunce from the school.
“Staff created a packed timetable of exciting numerical games and activities for all age groups to enjoy, spreading the joy of maths and also raising awareness of this very important charity and the vital work they provide to keep children safe from harm.
“The staff created their own set of large, wearable UNO cards which the children found hilarious! We wish to thank everyone for their enthusiasm and for kindly donating to the NSPCC.”
