Pupils from Bratton Primary School earned first place in the West Wiltshire Panathlon Challenge, competing against eight other schools.
Children from Year 5 and 6 took part in the event at Warminster School this month, where they tried a variety of different and new activities including boccia, flight path and skittles.
“The pupils participated with enthusiasm and encouragement of one another, showing such team spirit and they had lots of fun earning points during each activity,” said Hannah Holstead from the school.
“At the end of the busy event the hosts announced that the Bratton team had come first in the challenge against the eight other schools and the team were so pleased to be given a large gold medal along with a trophy to take back to school.
“Certificates have also been handed to the students during the weekly Bratton Primary School celebration assembly to show everyone in the school how well they did at the Panathlon Challenge.”
