A free willow lantern-making workshop, bulb planting and bat-themed activities will be on offer at an autumn community event during half term.
The event will take place at Penleigh Wildlife Garden, near Penleigh Play Park, on Wednesday 28th October from 2pm to 4pm.
Susannah Duval from TEAM10 will lead the lantern-making workshop with a group of children from the team, while ‘Bats About Bats’ activities will offer information, games and crafts to help people learn more about bats in the local area.
Visitors will also be able to find out about updates to the garden.
Hot drinks will also be available.
The event is being organised by Wiltshire Council’s Community Conversations team and Westbury Town Council.
Organisers say, “Come along, get involved, learn something new and help us make Penleigh Wildlife Garden a wonderful place for wildlife and the community!”
For more information, contact Chris Boyes on 07521 000620 or email communityconversations@wiltshire.gov.uk. Questions about the lantern-making workshop can be directed to Susannah Duval on 07901 663017.
