Tackling domestic abuse, raising aspirations for local youngsters and improving recycling rates were among just a handful of priorities produced by local people at a packed meeting in the Laverton last week.
The ‘What Matters to You’ event had been organised by the area board and the community area partnership and gave people the chance to hear all the latest statistics about their community.
Everyone got the opportunity to have their say and come up with ideas and projects that might help.
The results are now being compiled into a report which will go to the next area board meeting which will be held on Thursday 10th April at the Laverton. The report will also be posted on the blogsite and sent to everyone who attended.
